You see a lot of the guys here joking around, being hardasses and such. It's easy to think all of us don't give a crap about you or your car but seriously man, please take it easy. Given the way boost comes in on these RWD cars, they are VERY easy to wreck. It only takes it coming out from underneath you one time. If you do ONE thing that will improve your overall ability at the ripe age of 15/16, please go take a Performance Driving School on a weekend. I'm not talking about a $5,000 Skip Barber school but a simple $125-$200 1 or 2 day driving class. It's for professionals and noobs alike in that you get to hone your skills with YOUR OWN CAR on a professional track (most of them anyway). You get to test cornering, water driving, panic stopping and many other useful things. Not to mention you get track time where you can actually have an instructor show you the proper lines to take on a road course. This all translates to far better driving skills in the real world. You'll have such a huge one-up on your friends at school and you can laugh at them when they think about taking their Hyundai's into the canyons for spirited driving and such. Seriously, if ever you have to avoid some soccer-mom putting on makeup while driving her SUV, you'll know what line to take, how much braking to apply (if any) and how to recover from a skid or spin. It all helps DRASTICALLY and the ~$200 is a small investment given what you learn. Most parents will pay for it since it's an insurance policy of sorts or if you have a job and can pay for it yourself, you'll never regret doing so. In fact, you might get hooked (I sure did). Let me also add that this place (TwinTurbo.NET) might not be the best for you just yet. We're not the typical bunch of rowdy car guys you see on most forums. The majority of the people here are mature people in their mid 20s to mid 40s and frown on the childish things we ALL used to do when we were your age. That's not to say the younger members are all jackasses, but in general we're a bit too "uptight" for the average teenager. We've seen it all and we're a bit hard to please. If you can hang with us, use the site before asking repeated questions and can grow a thick skin, we'd love to have you as a member. It's a lot to ask of a 15 year old. I don't think I could have done it back then. Another good place right now for you might be www.300zxclub.com or perhaps even www.zcar.com where it's more of an "anything goes" format than us. Thanks and enjoy the site and your car. Please take care of it and yourself.
